As the Head of AI, you will be responsible for establishing the organisation's AI vision, guiding the development of scalable AI/ML models, and ensuring the successful deployment of advanced data-driven solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product, data, and business leaders—to identify high-impact AI opportunities, define success metrics, and deliver AI systems that enhance customer experiences, operational excellence, and business growth.

AI Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the organisation's end-to-end AI and machine learning strategy, aligned with business priorities.
- Lead and mentor AI/ML teams, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Translate emerging AI research and market trends into actionable strategic initiatives.
- Oversee research, design, development, and optimisation of machine learning and deep learning models.
- Drive end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions—from problem definition and data acquisition to model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure models are scalable, robust, explainable, and aligned with ethical AI practices.
- Architect and develop cutting-edge AI systems by leveraging modern ML frameworks, distributed training methods, and MLOps tools.
- Establish best practices for model governance, reproducibility, experimentation, and performance monitoring.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into production systems efficiently and securely.
- Work with product and business stakeholders to identify AI use-cases, define requirements, and prioritise initiatives based on impact.
- Communicate complex AI concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines, feature stores, and model-serving infrastructure.
- Stay updated on global AI advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory considerations.
- Build frameworks to evaluate new AI tools, LLMs, and automation opportunities.
- Promote responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance.
- 8-12 years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and applied data science.
- Proven experience leading AI/ML teams and delivering production-grade AI solutions at scale.
- Strong expertise in ML algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and generative AI technologies.
- Proficiency with modern ML libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and MLOps tools.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, distributed systems, and model operationalisation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field; PhD preferred
