The Opportunity
An opportunity to join a leading, FCA-regulated global finance organisation as part of a growing team of technologists and finance professionals. This role focuses on building a next-generation trading and investment platform within a greenfield environment, offering immediate technical ownership and impact.
Working Model
- Hybrid position - 4 days on-site in Central London
- Salary - £50k-£75k

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain services enabling AI agent interaction.
- Design and implement APIs, contracts, and metadata following the Model Context Protocol.
- Build internal tools supporting AI-native development workflows.
- Define best practices across prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
- Monitor emerging AI/ML advancements and apply relevant research to product initiatives.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and incident management processes.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong software engineering background with proficiency in at least one core language (Python, Java, or TypeScript), including API development and backend system integration.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Model Context Protocol
- LLM integration patterns (prompt orchestration, tool calling)
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- User-centric design for AI interfaces and intelligent automation
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Desirable exposure to AWS services, especially Bedrock for LLM deployment.
- Self-starter with a growth-driven mindset.

- Produces high-quality, maintainable code aligned with specifications.
- Takes full ownership of features from design through to deployment.
- Rapidly adopts and applies emerging AI-native engineering patterns.
