Vinyl is the meeting AI built for accountants and bookkeepers. We're on a mission to help professionals capture, summarise, and action every client conversation, without the admin. We’re a startup founded by industry veterans with deep SaaS, AI, and accounting tech experience. We're gearing up for our next growth phase across Australia, the UK, and the US.

We’ve built the first version, signed early adopters, and now we’re hiring our first engineers to help scale the product, expand integrations, and push the boundaries of AI-driven workflows in the accounting space.

• Experience with modern stacks (React, Node.js, TypeScript, etc.).
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, databases and APIs.
• Solid cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (OpenAI, Whisper, LangChain, or similar).
• Background in fast-paced startup, SaaS, or product-led environments.
• Agile best practices and shipping mindset.

• Worked on transcription, NLP, or AI workflow tools.
• Built integrations with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Xero or QuickBooks.
• Built into accounting workflow or practice management tools (e.g. Xero Practice Manager, Karbon, FYI Docs).
• Experience in B2B SaaS, accounting, or fintech tools.

• Hybrid model. WFH flexibility with regular in-person days in Sydney or Wollongong (we like face-to-face time to move fast when needed).
• Fortnightly sprints, fast shipping, constant learning.
• Use AI tools internally (Vinyl, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to move faster.
• Agile, lean, action-oriented.
