Experience: 8+ years

Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop BPM workflows using Appian.
• Manage and migrate BPM BAW processes to Appian.
• Work with Appian’s low-code environment, including process modeling, data management, and UI design.
• Leverage Appian AI capabilities for document classification and extraction automation.
• Integrate workflows with REST APIs and other enterprise systems.
• Analyze bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements.
• Develop and review low-level design documents; perform code reviews.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience in Appian and Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Proven experience in BPM process migration to Appian.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
• Experience deploying on AWS / Azure Cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, SVN, Bamboo, Docker, JUnit, Test Automation).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills (client & server-side).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Sprint boards, ceremonies).
• Knowledge of Banking and Financial Services domain is highly desirable.
