YOU...
- provide first-line technical support to the sales team and help win new projects
- support OEMs, system integrators, and end users in developing and implementing automation applications
- troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide customers as they build and deploy their solutions
- conduct design reviews and technical assessments for mission-critical automation projects
- work closely with key industrial customers to understand their challenges and tailor effective solutions
- lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and roadmap discussions to drive technology adoption
- support customer migration from competitor systems by developing required code and application logic
- provide technical demonstrations and insights to strengthen business development activities
- design and build robust application solutions aligned with customer needs
- create technical documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides
- perform technical validation for large automation projects to ensure readiness and alignment
- collaborate with internal expert teams to optimize and scale customer applications
- support preparation and delivery of technical training when required
- develop white papers, case studies, and knowledge-sharing content
- represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and technical communities
- create technical marketing content including webinars, blog posts, and product demonstrations
- engage with academic and research institutions to promote modern automation technologies
Qualifications
YOU...
- a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT Programming, or a related field
- experience in embedded software development
- familiarity with IEC/EN 61499
- strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with Windows and Linux development environments
- understanding of containerization and virtualization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes/Swarm
- experience with event-driven methodologies and C# programming for HMI integration
- networking experience across LAN, WAN, VLAN, managed switches, routers, and TCP/IP-based protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT)
- knowledge of C/C++, Python, or JavaScript (considered an advantage)
- willingness to travel approximately 30–50% of the time
Salary starting at € 3.800 gross per month based on 38.5 h/week with the express willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
