Role Overview


Samsung SDS Logistics has experienced significant growth over the last two years and is establishing itself as a new service provider (4PL) in the logistics market. With approximately 100 employees in Germany, we see ourselves as a start-up within the international and innovative Samsung Group.


We are looking for motivated HR Coordinator in the HR department for our Magdeburg location for fixed-term contract of a minimum of 12 months.


Key Responsibilities


  • Personnel support and administration for a defined group of employees from entry to departure, including the preparation of employment contracts and other personnel-related forms and documents
  • Close cooperation and regular coordination with the local HR business partner
  • Support in the preparation and follow-up of externally performed payroll accounting
  • Maintaining employee data in our HR system “Workday” and administering the time recording system
  • Supporting reporting
  • Proactive administrative and content-related support for the local departments
  • Classic administrative tasks such as correspondence, ordering office supplies, fruit and beverage deliveries, and ensuring the smooth functioning of copiers, etc.
  • Support in the area of occupational safety and health management
  • Support in the area of asset management
  • Other support for the HR team in all activities and projects, e.g., organization of company events and employee communication and administration


Requirements


  • Completed degree or commercial training—ideally with a focus on human resources—or similar
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in human resources
  • Strong social and communication skills
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
  • Discretion, loyalty, and flexibility
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of an HR system (e.g., Workday)
  • Fluent German and at least good English skills
