Head of Data

Genome is everything users need from the traditional banks, but safer, faster and completely online. Genome is a Lithuanian Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, serving B2B and B2C clients across Europe. We offer fully online financial services, including account opening, payment processing, currency exchange, and debit card issuing. Clients manage their funds through a user-friendly dashboard accessible on desktops and mobile apps for Android and iOS. Genome is looking for a Head of Data!

Key Responsibilities

• lead and manage a multicultural team of analysts, report builders and BI data engineers;
• create and analyze key business performance metrics and competitive trends to guide strategic decisions;
• design, support and assess periodical regulatory reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy;
• drive the development of BI solutions, including data search and capture, automated reports, dashboards and deep analytics modelling;
• utilize operational and statistical tools and models to create accurate business forecasts;
• work closely with business, marketing, finance and technology partners to identify needs and establish data collection requirements, translate business requirements into tracking specifications;
• establish robust processes and tools for data quality management and validation to ensure the integrity of data;
• collaborate with the engineering team to deploy and maintain accurate tracking of BI system availability, timelines, and correctness.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years product / web / data analytics experience;
• Head / Lead Experience;
• strong communication skills and ability to structure requirements and data for clear communication with multi-faceted teams including business, engineering, analytics, and marketing;
• proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL;
• knowledge of cloud BI and marketing analytics tools such as QuickSight, Google Analytics, Amplitude, as a plus.

Salary range: €5,800 - €6,700 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
