Back End Developer

We are working with a company who have a vision to provide light-speed connectivity everywhere in the solar system and who aim to enable fast and secure communications between all human assets in space and on Earth.

They are looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team in Luxembourg on a permanent basis. The role is to design, build and deploy a cloud-based backend system composted of a set of interacting services and monitor the system health.

Qualifications:

• API development (REST, gRPC) and microservices architecture.
• Experience in Go (programming language), Python nice to have.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with RabbitMQ/AMQP/Kafka.

This is a great opportunity for a software engineer who is looking to enter the space industry and work on the European Space Agency projects as no prior space experience is required.
