The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer Front-end, you’ll be a key contributor to Dawnguard’s core platform. Your focus will be on building intuitive, secure, and high-performance user interfaces that empower customers to secure their cloud infrastructure in minutes.
You’ll collaborate with founding engineers, product designers, and security experts to:
- Develop scalable and secure Single Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks like Angular
- Integrate backend services (APIs, WebSockets) to deliver real-time access to powerful AI workloads
- Optimize interfaces for accessibility, performance, and security
- Write robust tests, patch vulnerabilities, and conduct code reviews to uphold product quality
- Take ownership of major features and drive them from concept to deployment
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core front-end components using Angular.
- Translate product designs into interactive, user-friendly applications in collaboration with the Head of Product Design.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the product roadmap.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security across all front-end services.
- Maintain and evolve corporate NPM packages.
- Uphold high standards of code quality through testing and reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering, ideally within cloud or cybersecurity domains.
- Advanced proficiency in front-end development using Angular, TypeScript, JSON, and SCSS.
- Strong expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols such as SAML and OIDC.
- Proven ability to consume and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Skilled in writing unit tests and maintaining test coverage.
- Demonstrated experience translating design frameworks into interactive, user-centric applications.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Storybook for component development and documentation.
