Network DevOps Engineer

Network DevOps Engineer | Hybrid Cloud | Long-term Project

We are looking for a Senior Network DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale hybrid cloud transformation within an international financial environment. You will join a globally distributed Public Cloud team responsible for designing and delivering next-generation software-defined networking across Public Cloud and on-premises environments.

As a Network DevOps Engineer, you will help architect and implement a new global network structure aligned with hybrid cloud strategies, working with leading cloud technologies, modern automation practices, and large enterprise infrastructures.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building cloud-native network solutions that support global engineering teams consuming cloud services securely and efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build software-defined networking infrastructure for both Public Cloud and on-premises environments.

You will design and implement next-generation networking patterns, contribute to infrastructure automation (Terraform, CI/CD, scripting), and drive engineering excellence across networking, routing, VPN, interconnects, firewalling, and cloud-native components.

This position is part of a global DevOps organization with colleagues across regions. You will have flexibility to collaborate remotely while being part of an international, high-performing Agile environment.

Who are you?

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer within large-scale or enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure and/or GCP networking (routing, VPN, interconnects, firewalling)
• Experience with Containers & cloud-native functions (e.g., Azure Functions)
• Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation)
• Ability to design and build cloud solutions fully in code
• Hands-on scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar)
• Experience sharing knowledge and presenting solutions to stakeholders
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum ways of working
• A true team player comfortable working with international, cross-country teams
• Security mindset embedded in your engineering approach
