Who We Are

Impactum Insights is a proudly independent Romanian company with over a decade of experience in developing software solutions that capture public opinion and deliver insights. Our platforms combine cutting-edge technology with deep research expertise to simplify and streamline the way organizations understand their audiences.

We’ve led large-scale projects across more than 20 countries on five continents. Today, our focus is on building AI-powered tools for both quantitative and qualitative research—empowering teams to extract deeper insights, faster and with less friction. Whether refining existing products or launching new ones, we’re committed to making research accessible, scalable, and impactful.

Excited to grow? We’re looking for a passionate Frontend Developer to become part of our Bucharest-based team.

Your Mission

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll play a key role in bringing our product experience to life through clean, accessible, and visually polished interfaces. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to turn concepts and mockups into responsive, user-friendly UI that feels great to use. Your role is to bridge design vision and technical implementation—transforming layouts into real interactions, refining styling, and helping evolve existing components into modern, state-of-the-art user experiences.

This is a full-time, office-first role, giving you the chance to collaborate directly with the team, contribute to discussions in real time, and stay closely connected to the evolution of our products. You’ll be part of an agile environment where design decisions are made openly, and your input will influence not just the look and feel of our platforms, but also the way they evolve iteration by iteration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building clean, responsive, and accessible UI using modern HTML and SCSS modules
  • Modifying and polishing existing HTML/CSS to improve layout, styling, and overall UX consistency
  • Implementing and styling components based on design mockups and UX guidelines
  • Maintaining and improving UI to achieve modern, polished, and consistent experiences
  • Working with React components—updating or creating new ones when needed and when you’re comfortable doing so
  • Collaborating closely with designers and product managers and the rest of the development team to turn ideas into functional interfaces
  • Ensuring UI quality, cross-browser compatibility, and smooth user interactions
  • Contributing creative input to elevate visual design and usability

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who’s not only skilled but also curious, collaborative, and genuinely fun to work with.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
  • Strong proficiency in modern HTML and SCSS (including SCSS modules)
  • Experience working with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, or similar
  • Familiarity with React and the ability to modify or build components
  • Solid understanding of responsive design
  • Experience improving and refactoring existing HTML/CSS codebases
  • Attention to visual detail and passion for creating high-quality interfaces
  • Creativity and a strong sense of UI aesthetics are a big plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers

What We Offer

  • A relaxed, inspiring workspace in one of Bucharest’s most elegant neighborhoods—surrounded by historic architecture and prestigious institutions
  • A young, forward-thinking team that values collaboration, good humor, and smart ideas
  • An informal environment where creativity thrives and hierarchies don’t get in the way of innovation
  • Access to new technologies and modern tools that support your professional growth
  • An energizing culture where coffee chats and spontaneous brainstorming are part of the daily rhythm

This is a place where you can truly grow, feel at ease, and do meaningful work—with people who actually enjoy Mondays.

What’s in It for You

  • A minimum of 23 paid vacation days
  • 1 extra paid leave day for each full year in the team
  • 24th and 31st December paid days off
  • Office-first hybrid work model (4 days a week at the office and one day per week from home - you can choose between Wednesday or Friday to work from home)
  • Medical subscription for each team member +1 extra family member
  • Gym membership
  • Full availability to support professional development (e.g. courses, programs, other resources)
