We are looking for Scrum Master to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice or Gdańsk, Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Coaching the team, within the Scrum principles, in order to deliver high-quality features for its product.
  • Facilitating Scrum events to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the Product Owner to maintain the product backlog.
  • Helping the team to determine the definition of done and ready for the product, with input from key stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing impediments or risks which can block the team in its progress including the troubleshooting of technical aspects.
  • Promoting self-organization and cross-functionality within the team.
  • Educating key stakeholders and the rest of the organization on Scrum/SAFe (and possibly Agile) principles
  • Conducting sprint planning, review, demo and ceremonies.

Must have requirements:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master of an IT development team
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good technical and functional understanding of the development process
  • Experience in large scale applications development
  • Leadership and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes and act accordingly, flexible approach
  • Responsibility for ensuring the successful outcome of the team's deliverables, including aligning with SCRUM/SAFE practices, meeting stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English B2/C1
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice or Gdańsk


Nice have requirements:

  • Scrum Master / SAFE Certification


The recruitment process in our company consist of 2 stages:

  • a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
  • one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
