As a Business Insights Lead, you will be driving development and delivery of Data & Analytics portfolio supporting the HGP Strategy, ensuring high quality outputs and bring data driven opportunities to buying teams worldwide.
Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Actively working with across global, regional and local procurement teams to build out a portfolio of insights that enable a high performance and data driven procurement function.
- Focusing on the area of indirects / non-product related procurement which covers over 50% of spend.
- Leading the development based on a long term roadmap driving continuous improvement and more advanced analytics (combination of BI, AI and tooling).
- Connecting with procurement teams worldwide to fully understand requirements of the function and build an analytics roadmap.
- Working closely with buying teams to deliver the insights required.
- Actively challenging stakeholders at all levels based on performance insights.
- Ensuring the data quality within the portfolio is at the right level for accurate reporting, leading improvement projects to be executed with by the Business Insights Lead.
- Owning the portfolio for effective information for procurement/category strategy development, key corporate programs and procurement/category performance.
- Leading development teams and working with product/platform owners to align source systems to data needs
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance or Business studies
- Work experience: 5-8 years.
- Required work experience in field of expertise: Data literate with project management experience in a cross functional and multinational environment. Preferably with buying experience.
- Other fields of expertise: Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain
- Functional skills: Strong & practical experience working with data, digital tools and Procurement or Supply Chain platforms
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Project certification
