Positival:

Due to medical advancements, 3 out of 4 individuals survive cancer, meaning an increasing number of people are learning to live with cancer. A significant portion (40%) of these survivors are of working age, yet they often lack the necessary support on how to successfully return to work. This is a growing global issue, with 19.3 million new cancer cases rising every year.

Positival offers a (digital) tailored treatment option so employees can function in their daily lives. The concept is based on research and an award-winning master's thesis, utilizing technology to deliver earlier intervention. We envision a world where every organization prioritizes the well-being of their employees, especially those who have overcome the challenges of cancer. We strive to be the leading provider of comprehensive support services, empowering employers to create inclusive and supportive environments where every employee can thrive.

Role (Volunteer): UX/UI Designer (Figma)

Role Description: We are seeking a proactive and visually talented UX/UI Designer to translate complex concepts into intuitive and accessible digital experiences, collaborating closely with our development team to enhance our platform's user-facing elements.

Tools:

• Figma (components, variants, styles, auto-layout),
• Design tokens (color, type, spacing),
• WCAG-aware assets, export-ready specs.

Experience:

• Some experience working with Figma and creating mockups
• Understanding of basic UI layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create simple, clean, and consistent screens
• Good communication skills and comfortable collaborating with developers

Time Commitment: Volunteer 10+ hours per week for 1-2 months remotely.
