Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, UAE for a Game Developer. The role involves developing and programming games, focusing on gameplay features, object-oriented programming (OOP), and contributing to overall game design.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize gameplay systems using Unity, Cocos Creator, or any other game engines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prototype game features.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C#, Lua, or JavaScript (based on platform).

• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues across multiple devices and platforms.

• Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs (e.g., ads, analytics, and payment systems).

• Optimize game assets and code for performance and memory efficiency.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in game development and contribute new ideas to improve the development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in game development using Unity (C#), Cocos Creator (JavaScript/Lua), and other game engines.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and game physics.

• Experience with 2D/3D rendering, animations, and UI implementation.

• Familiarity with cross-platform development (iOS/Android/PC).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of shader programming (HLSL/GLSL).

• Understanding of game monetization strategies, including in-app purchases and ads.

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Prior experience in publishing games on app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store).
