Our client is currently recruiting a Backend Developer - Python to join their talented engineering team, building highly scalable backend services that power exceptional customer experiences.

This is a role where your technical expertise will directly shape the future of automotive retail.

The ideal Backend Developer - Python will have:

• You must have a strong background in Python (ideally Django or another framework)
• A good understanding of databases, OO design, data structures and SOLID principles
• Analytical mindset with a love for problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Experience with modern development practices including code reviews, pair programming and Agile processes
• Strong collaborative approach, working effectively with both technical peers and business teams
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across the team

Tech Stack includes:

Python, FastAPI, AWS, PostgreSQL, Django, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub

What the Backend Developer - Python role offers:

• £70,000 base salary
• 10% performance-based bonus
• 28 days annual leave (plus public holidays) + birthday day off
