This is a hybrid role between WMS Support Analyst and Warehouse Process Engineer. The Candidate will work as a bridge between IT, operational and leadership teams to deliver continuous improvement and front line support.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the WMS Business Support Analyst will be responsible for proactively working with the business to optimize warehouse efficiency using industry best practices. The candidate is also responsible for providing ongoing technical/practical training for the operations team. Lastly, the candidate will be implementing and supporting the operational WMS application.
Other responsibilities:
- Supporting new client onboarding by applying appropriate IT configurations
- Developing and maintaining management reports/dashboards
- Compiling and maintaining technical and user documentation
- Providing Level 2 support for WMS and daily EDI monitoring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a distribution technical support role using WMS
- College or University degree in computer engineering or a related field as an asset
- Experience with distribution center processes and warehousing best practices
- Experience in providing Level 2 help desk functions
- Experience with new WMS system implementation
- Extensive knowledge of various programming languages
- Strong practical analytical skills, interpersonal communication and listening skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group, as well as independently in order to meet or exceed company expectations
- Eagerness to learn and accept new challenges, highly self-motivated
- Keen eye for details and highly organized
