What The Role Entails

As Tencent Cloud expands its engineering presence across Southeast Asia, we are hiring a Cloud Quality Assurance Lead to take end-to-end ownership of product quality across one or more international cloud offerings. This is a leadership role for someone ready to not just execute tests, but to architect testing frameworks, drive automation strategies, and champion cross-regional reliability standards. You’ll be leading testing initiatives that ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud services, while working hand-in-hand with product, development, and delivery teams across regional markets. Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for at least one core cloud product, including test requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and quality reporting.
• Continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness through automation, chaos testing, DevOps methodologies, and AI-driven testing tools.
• Provide delivery support where needed by collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and ensure smooth product deployment.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in software/system testing, automation, and test development, with 3+ years of team management experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation and performance testing frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Tencent Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) for internal and external cross-region and cross-functional communications.
