UI/UX Designer (Public Sector)

• Adecco is partnering with a public sector agency to search for an UI/UX Designer (Public Sector).
• Role will start off as a contract assignment.
  
  

Overview:

We are looking for an UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, engaging experiences and design impactful visuals that drive participation, collaboration, and innovation.



Responsibilities:

• Design & Development

  • Conduct user and market research to understand problem statements, define research scope, and produce insights reports.

  • Design responsive, accessible UI components and ensure strong UX integration in front-end development.

  • Translate user stories into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.

• User Research & Usability

  • Plan and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover user needs, pain points, and feature opportunities.

  • Apply research insights to improve navigation, usability, and overall engagement.

• Visual Communication & Campaign Design

  • Create visually compelling EDMs, banners, and digital assets for innovation campaigns and programme outreach.

  • Enhance visual storytelling and maintain consistent branding across initiatives.

• Collaboration & Programme Support

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and content teams to iterate on design solutions.

  • Support programme activities including sharing sessions, and showcase events.

Requirements:

• Diploma with at least 5 years of UI/UX experience.

• Strong skills in interaction design, visual design, and tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.

• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.

• Ability to create visually appealing digital campaign assets and prototypes.

• Experience with crowdsourcing or community engagement tools is a bonus.
