Back End Developer / Engineer II – UK
⭐ Key Position Details

£475 Per Day PAYE
£650 Per Day Umbrella
🔧 Role Objective
Support the team during the playback orchestration system migration, focusing primarily on maintaining the current system to ensure stability, reduce risk, and keep performance strong as the migration nears completion.
🛠️ Required Technical Skills
- 🥇 Senior-level C++ expertise — many years of hands-on experience
- Experience with playback and orchestration APIs (preferred)
- 🐞 Excellent debugging abilities + strong test mindset
- 🔄 Enjoy switching contexts and jumping across multiple projects
- 🧩 Comfortable digging into system design through logs, data, and tooling
🤝 Essential Soft Skills
- 🗣️ Outstanding communication — especially simplifying complex technical domains for stakeholders
- 👥 Strong team collaborator who leverages peer knowledge
- 📣 Proactive “overcommunicator” to maintain clarity, alignment, and avoid rework
🌟 Preferred Experience
- 📺 Background in consumer multimedia (e.g., Netflix, Amazon)

🧪 Interview Process
The process includes two rounds, with the technical assessment prioritized:
1️⃣ 60-minute Technical Screening
- Small coding exercise

2️⃣ 30-minute Values Interview
- Conversation with the Hiring Manager on ways of working, culture fit, and collaboration style
