Full Stack Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer | Melbourne | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) | $116–130k + Super

We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join a high-performing team building modern, scalable products that make a real impact. If you love working end-to-end across frontend and backend, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to work with a team that embraces modern tooling (including AI coding assistants), this could be the perfect next step.

✨ What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing and delivering full-stack web applications that are secure, performant and built for scale.
• Building clean, intuitive frontend experiences using modern frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.
• Developing backend services and APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI) or comparable frameworks.
• Designing, maintaining, and optimising relational database structures (primarily PostgreSQL).
• Using AI development tools to accelerate coding, documentation, testing, and workflow efficiency.
• Applying strong engineering practices across CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and secure development.

💡 What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of commercial engineering experience building production-grade software.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools (Copilot, OpenAI assistants, etc.) to speed up delivery and improve code quality.
• Strong full-stack capability — Python on the backend, plus React with JavaScript/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and database management with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or similar containerisation tools.
• Strong grasp of modern authentication and security practices (OAuth, JWT, secure coding).
• Great communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to high-quality engineering.

📍 Location & Work Model

Melbourne-based role | Hybrid | 3 days per week in the office.

💰 Salary

$116,000 – $130,000 + Superannuation (depending on experience).
