Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories from concept to outcome; validate requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct thorough testing, and release to production
- Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose problems using root cause methodology, address underlying issues (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
- Elevate Code Standards: Assess designs and pull requests to guarantee clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt at its source
- Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
- Executing specifications mechanically without comprehending the underlying challenge
- Spending time in prolonged meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Merely delivering features; you'll own solving genuine problems
- Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys rapidly, and remains sustainable over time
- A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
- Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams, beyond performing isolated tasks
- Self-directed execution: Capability to remove your own blockers, manage your own velocity, and navigate forward in uncertain contexts
- Practical experience utilizing generative A.I. as part of your regular development workflow
