Senior Manager, Game Production - Distributed Development

As a Senior Manager, Game Production, you will lead and grow Riot Sydney’s production craft across several game initiatives. You’ll work closely with producers, product managers, and cross-discipline leaders to guide teams from conception through launch and live operations. Your leadership will help ensure that teams align with product vision, deeply understand player and customer needs, and consistently deliver at a high-quality bar.
You’ll report to the Design Director in Sydney and collaborate across multiple products and studios to support distributed co-development efforts between Sydney-based teams and partners worldwide.
This is a full-time role, based in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities
- Directly manage and grow production and product management craft across multiple teams and projects.
- Drive strategic alignment across initiatives to ensure work supports both local and global objectives.
- Provide leadership guidance, mentorship, and feedback to producers and product leads.
- Foster healthy and efficient co-development practices between Sydney and partner studios.
- Partner with studio leadership to support operational planning and execution across titles.
- Champion team health, culture, and long-term sustainability.
- Identify and communicate production risks and opportunities across teams and product verticals.
- 8+ years of experience in software or game development.
- 4+ years of experience in a leadership role managing production or product management disciplines.
- Proven experience leading teams through major development phases (planning, execution, release, and post-launch).
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across disciplines and time zones.
- Experience establishing metrics and data-driven improvement processes.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Experience fostering collaboration across distributed global teams.
- Previous experience in game development, live service operations, or related entertainment fields.
