Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mobile/Web Frontend Developer specializing in ReactJs/Native, NextJs, Typescript, and AWS. The developer will be responsible for creating responsive and visually appealing UI components, integrating with backend services, and ensuring seamless web and mobile user experiences. Key tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with the latest industry trends to continuously improve our products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using ReactJS (Next.js) and React Native
• Implement dynamic UI features that scale across devices and screen sizes
• Use the Container/Presentation pattern to build maintainable, modular frontends
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Participate in code reviews and uphold SOLID principles and CLEAN Code best practices
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for long-term reliability
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure application scalability

Required Skills and Experience

Frontend (Web)

• 5+ years of experience with ReactJS and Next.js in production environments
• Strong grasp of state management frameworks such as Redux
• Strong experience writing testable components with Jest and React Testing Library
• Proficient in Responsive Web Design and accessible, user-friendly interfaces

Mobile

• Proficiency with React Native and the mobile development lifecycle (iOS and Android)
• Experience creating design systems that scale across mobile and web platforms

General

• Experience with Cursor and Claude Code is a must.
• Deep understanding of the Container/Presentation pattern for component architecture and re-usability of code between web and mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, modular architecture, and component-based design
• Commitment to SOLID principles and CLEAN Code practices
• Familiarity with REST API integration, authentication flows, and error handling
• Experience with AWS (S3, CloudFront, Cognito, Amplify, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus

Bonus Points

• Experience working with Figma to transform designs into polished, production-ready components
• Familiarity with serverless backends and AWS Amplify or AppSync
• Previous work in the humanitarian, fintech, or social impact space
