Our client is looking to redesign their web application from the ground up, creating an intuitive, polished, and user-friendly experience for their customers. We’re seeking a UX/UI–focused Frontend Developer who can combine strong product thinking, exceptional design sensibility, and hands-on React development to bring this vision to life.

As a UX/UI Frontend Developer, you’ll own the end-to-end redesign of the web application. You’ll collaborate with product and design teams, audit the current platform, design and prototype new flows, and implement them in React. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, understands modern frontend best practices, and can translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full redesign of the client’s web application, from UX discovery to final UI implementation.
  • Conduct UX audits, evaluate user flows, and identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or similar tools.
  • Build responsive, type-safe user interfaces using React + TypeScript.
  • Manage complex state flows with Zustand.
  • Develop polished, accessible components with Material-UI (MUI).
  • Establish or refine the design system for consistency across the product.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to validate assumptions and iterate on designs.
  • Ensure the final product is visually appealing, usable, and performant.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Frontend Development with a strong UX/UI focus.
  • Proven experience contributing to or leading app or product redesigns.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • React + TypeScript – building responsive, type-safe UIs
    • Zustand – state management for complex app flows
    • Material-UI (MUI) – creating polished, accessible component libraries
    • Modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns and best practices
  • Experience with UI/UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles: user flows, IA, usability testing, accessibility.
  • Ability to balance design quality with technical implementation.
Nice to have

  • Experience building or evolving design systems.
  • Familiarity with animations (Framer Motion, GSAP).
  • Experience integrating APIs or collaborating with backend teams.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM ET

Compensation: paid in USD.
