The Opportunity

We are looking for a frontend engineer who enjoys building data-rich, high-quality user interfaces. You will own the parts of the product where users see and explore their visibility data. This includes designing clear dashboards, ensuring data accuracy in visualizations, and maintaining automated testing to keep everything reliable.

This is one of our first technical hires. You will help shape our frontend architecture, tooling, and engineering culture from the start.

What You’ll Do

• Build and refine Rankscale’s data-driven dashboards, visualizations, and reporting interfaces (React / Shadcn / TypeScript / Tailwind).
• Work with structured data and APIs to create clear, interactive visualizations.
• Implement automated testing with Playwright, Jest, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with product and design to improve usability and performance.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Explore and use AI-assisted testing and development tools to accelerate iteration and quality assurance.
• Maintain a consistent component library and documentation standards.
• Improve the analytics user experience through feedback and iteration.

Tech Stack

• Core: React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Shadcn UI
• Testing: Playwright / Jest / Cypress / Vitest
• Visualization: Recharts, D3.js, Plotly, or similar
• APIs & Data: BigQuery, Firestore and others
• AI Tools: Copilot, ChatGPT Code Interpreter, automated test-generation frameworks

You do not need to master every tool listed, but you should be comfortable working across the frontend stack and learning quickly.

• 3 + years of professional experience in modern frontend development.
• Deep interest in data visualization, analytics, and performance metrics.
• Eye for detail and precision; you care about how numbers and visuals tell a story.
• Belief that testing and QA are part of good design.
• Curious about using AI tools to improve development speed and reliability.
• Communicative, pragmatic, and self-driven; you like seeing your work impact real users.
• Excited to join a scaling AI SaaS platform where your work directly shapes the product experience

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with design systems and component architecture.
• Experience in mentoring juniors and/or leading teams
• Background in analytics products, dashboards, or marketing-tech tools.
• Understanding of data accuracy, statistical visualization, or UX for analytics.
• Familiarity with SEO or GEO concepts.
• Contributions to open-source visualization or testing frameworks.
• Enthusiastic side/hobby projects that you want to show us.
