Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective
• Ensure correct and efficient use of the Scrum framework
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization
• Help the team deliver Sprint Backlog items and meet the Definition of Done
• Track team capacity and velocity for planning and reporting
• Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions
• Coach the squad to improve self-organisation, collaboration, and Agile maturity
• Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
• Address risks, issues, and blockers effectively
• Take delivery ownership for features managed by the squad
• Manage and follow up on team dependencies

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Scrum Master experience
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira
• Understanding of automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration practices
• Solid knowledge of project management
• English mandatory; Dutch or French is a plus
• Master’s degree or equivalent
• Strong soft skills: servant leadership, empathy, excellent communication, team-building mindset, proactive, collaborative, supports continuous improvement, promotes trust and open feedback, encourages autonomy
• Ability to guide teams without imposing authority, using persuasion and coaching
• Hybrid working ability (50% on-site / 50% homeworking)
