The Role

As a Computer Vision ML Engineer, you will develop and optimise edge AI models for Supersight's recycled smartphone sensors. You will work closely with our technical team to advance our visual understanding systems, improve model performance, and ensure efficient deployment on resource-constrained devices.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize computer vision models for edge deployment on mobile devices.
2. Implement model compression and optimization techniques for resource-efficient inference.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate AI models into production systems.
4. Work with product and operations teams to enhance AI performance on recycled hardware.
5. Contribute to research initiatives in edge AI and efficient model design.
6. Support AI ethics, data privacy, and sustainable computing principles in development work.

What We're Looking For

1. Strong background in computer vision and machine learning (MS or equivalent experience preferred).
2. Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, or similar frameworks.
3. Understanding of edge AI, model optimization, or deployment on embedded systems.
4. Experience with model compression techniques (quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation).
5. Ability to translate technical solutions into practical applications.
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
