Fullstack Developer - Java / React

Salary up to €65,000

We are working with a leading company in Germany, Together, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to support the continued development of their high-traffic platform.

In this role, you will build modern, scalable applications using cutting-edge technologies and clean software design principles. You’ll work across the entire stack and contribute directly to features that simplify everyday decisions for consumers. AI is also becoming a central component of the platform.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar or completed vocational IT training.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software development (internships/working-student roles also welcome).
• Solid development experience with Java and TypeScript / JavaScript, plus knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Experience with Spring Boot or React.
• Good understanding of OOP, software design principles, and basic architectural concepts (e.g., layered or hexagonal architecture).
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and a willingness to learn and take ownership.
• Strong communication skills and very good German
• Team-oriented mindset.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new features for complex insurance products using Java / Spring Boot and React / TypeScript.
• Work end-to-end across the tech stack: frontend, backend, REST APIs, databases, and platform components.
• Integrate AI (LLMs) into existing and new components in a production-ready environment.
• Optimise system performance, stability, and scalability.
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD best practices.
• Take ownership of features and contribute your ideas to technical and product decisions.
