What You’ll Do as an Business Analyst

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Gather and Translate Requirements Conduct interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews to capture business needs and convert them into clear acceptance criteria for the Product team.
  • Collaborate for Value-Driven Delivery Work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to ensure innovative, optimized, and sustainable digital product delivery.
  • Champion Agile Practices Promote Agile methodologies, uphold standards, and implement process improvements to boost team productivity.
  • Remove Impediments and Report Progress Partner with Delivery Managers to resolve obstacles and maintain accurate status and productivity reporting.
  • Maintain System Knowledge Build and sustain a deep understanding of current systems and applications to inform future solutions.
  • Support Strategic Decision-Making Help Product Owners challenge assumptions, leverage data for decisions, and identify opportunities to optimize digital performance.

What You’ll Bring

Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:

  • Business Analysis Experience Minimum of 3 years in a Business Analysis or business relationship management role within a digital environment.
  • Domain Expertise Proven industry or functional experience, ideally gained through working in eCommerce.
  • Educational Background Relevant degree, equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience.
  • Digital Systems Proficiency Strong hands-on experience with digital merchandising, SEO, content management systems, and design tools such as Figma.
  • UX/UI Knowledge Solid understanding of customer experience principles, including UX and UI best practices.
  • Agile Certification (Preferred) Certification in Agile Product Ownership, Scaled Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent is desirable.
