Android Developer

DETAILS:

• Role: Android Developer
• Location: first period fully onsite, after 2 days per week from home
• Languages: Italian fluent and English intermediate
• Contract: full-time

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Independently develop and implement new features and functionalities within the application ecosystem to enhance the user experience and support business results;
• Develop and maintain customized software applications;
• Integrate third-party services into the application ecosystem (e.g., ecommerce within the app);
• Provide technical assistance and support to other internal teams based on your acquired technical expertise;
• Perform testing and quality checks to ensure software reliability and efficiency;
• Support Project Managers with feasibility assessments and consulting services to guide project decisions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product Management, UX/UI Design, Customer Service—to ensure the software meets both business and end-user needs;
• Manage and optimize app performance, including speed and user experience;
• Maintain and troubleshoot the App solution.

WE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE

• A degree in Computer Science/related fields and/or in Management Engineering and/or a diploma in IT/electrotechnical fields;
• 1–2 years of experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and a solid understanding of native Android development;
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, and reactive approaches for building dynamic, high-performance user interfaces;
• Experience using Jira for task management and bug tracking;
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a drive for professional growth;
• A collaborative mindset: you enjoy teamwork, interact proactively, and build positive relationships with others;
• Knowledge of Firebase and Typescript/JavaScript for managing advanced services and functionalities (considered a plus);
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and dynamic content integration (also considered a plus).
