Your Mission
In this vital role, you will be key to maintaining the high quality and efficiency of Mercell’s core data, which provides seamless access to crucial procurement information.
As a Data Entry & Information Processor at Mercell, you will be part of our Data Entry team in Latvia and report to the Head of Data Entry in Baltics. We are a team of dedicated professionals responsible for accurately inputting, classifying, and maintaining critical procurement data.
As our new Data Entry & Information Processor, you will have an essential and impactful role where you will be the guardian of data integrity, directly supporting our mission to revolutionize public procurement.

- Accurately enter procurements and specified data into various databases and electronic systems.
- Collect, classify, and publish information related to procurements, reports and budgets on an agreed-upon basis.
- Maintain and update information consistently across all necessary tools for data collection.
- Hands-on learning or entry-level experience in data management or processing roles.
- Proficiency in standard office software and programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Gmail.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and accurately classify textual information.
- Fluent in Latvian language (written and spoken).
- Good understanding of English language (written and spoken).
- A strong curiosity for modern working methods and an interest in the evolution of AI for data processing.
- Demonstrated interest in the procurement news and landscape in Latvia.
Duration: Temporary maternity cover (estimated for a 1.5 year period)
Workplace type: Hybrid (working onsite at the office and from home, balancing flexibility with collaboration)
Location: Latvia, Riga
