Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conduct customer discovery through planning and running interviews, mapping target customers, and identifying key problems.
- Test demand using landing pages, waitlists, “false doors,” and small pilot projects with defined success and stop criteria.
- Develop pricing strategies by running willingness-to-pay studies, defining simple pricing models, and tracking realized prices.
- Drive go-to-market efforts by writing positioning statements, creating product pages and sales materials, and setting up early adopter programs or self-serve trials.
- Measure performance by instrumenting the funnel and reporting weekly on key metrics (sign-ups, activation, trials, conversions, revenue, retention).
- Prioritize projects by selecting high-potential ideas, allocating resources effectively, and shutting down weak concepts quickly.
- Build and lead a small growth team; collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams.
- Regularly report learnings, outcomes, and next steps to leadership.
- 7+ years of experience in product growth, product marketing, or business development, preferably for B2B software or data/AI products.
- Proven track record of taking ideas from test phase to paying customers.
- Experience in building small teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.
- English: C2 (required)
- German: B2–C2 (desired)
- Advanced proficiency in product analytics and A/B testing.
- Basic proficiency in SQL or dashboard tools.
- Advanced comfort with numbers and basic statistics.
- Advanced skills in customer interviews and survey design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adaptable to different personalities and situations.
- Strong written communication; able to convey complex ideas clearly and accessibly.
- Persuasive and confident in presenting ideas or products and engaging stakeholders.
