⭐ The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team and support their growth, mindset, and performance
• Drive architectural decisions for a modern platform built on TypeScript, Node.js, React, microservices, and cloud-native technologies
• Be hands-on when needed, contributing to code, reviewing PRs, and guiding technical solutions
• Ensure high standards across engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and performance
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership to shape roadmaps and technical direction
• Take ownership of team structure, hiring, onboarding, and engineering culture
• Balance technical depth with people leadership, ensuring both the team and platform scale effectively

⭐ Tech Environment

You’ll be working with a modern, flexible stack including:

• TypeScript (frontend + backend)
• Node.js, microservices, event-driven design
• React / Next.js
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
• Real-time and high-performance components

You don’t need experience with every tool, but you must be comfortable leading teams in a modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

⭐ What We’re Looking For

• Strong background as a Tech Lead, Principal Engineer, or Engineering Manager
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in dynamic, product-led environments
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Solid understanding of scalable, distributed systems and cloud architecture
• Ability to drive delivery, solve complex technical problems, and support engineers in their growth
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting with high autonomy
• Based in Stockholm and open to a hybrid working model

Experience in high-traffic, real-time systems is a plus, but not required.
