We are looking for a skilled Front-end Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Our client is a leading multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. They build better lotteries that return more to good causes by focusing on innovation, technology, efficiency, and safety across a growing casual gaming entertainment portfolio.

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will design and develop HTML5 game content for the lottery and gaming industry. You should have strong Object-Oriented Programming skills, proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), and experience with JavaScript graphics APIs (Canvas, WebGL). Familiarity with the Pixi framework and a creative understanding of game design are a plus. You will contribute to all stages of our games, from design to launch.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in a Front-end Engineering role
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Demonstrable experience with HTML/JS game development and Spine, Pixi, or other 2D animation tools
• Commercial awareness of game design, a creative mindset, and a strong motivation to learn new technologies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects, and collaborating within a highly skilled team
• Familiarity with Node.js
• Degree in Computer Science (BSc or higher)
• English - Upper-Intermediate level or higher

• Continuously improve code quality through automation, best practices, and regular code reviews
• Contribute creative and innovative ideas to enhance game features and workflows
• Stay current with relevant technologies, tools, and industry techniques
• Mentor junior team members and actively share knowledge within the team
• Communicate confidently and effectively, demonstrating strong commercial awareness
• Collaborate smoothly within a highly engaged, cross-functional, and fast-paced team environment
