Our client is looking for an Engineering Manager who will play a key role in building, developing, and scaling our technology solutions.


We are looking for a leader who can combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and business understanding, while inspiring engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.

You will be responsible for managing engineering teams, supporting their growth, implementing best engineering practices, and collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders.


Responsibilities


  • Implementing the technology strategy: contributing to system architecture, defining engineering standards, and supporting technology selection.
  • Leading engineering teams: organizing daily work, mentoring, and developing team members while fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Driving agile methodologies: establishing processes and practices that improve team efficiency, quality, and engagement.
  • Partnering with product and business teams: collaborating closely with product leaders to deliver impactful solutions and optimize infrastructure costs.
  • Technical leadership: taking part in decision-making processes related to architecture, code quality, and system security.
  • Building an engineering culture based on trust, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing engineering teams, including cross-functional or distributed teams.
  • Proven track record working in agile / lean environments with a servant leadership approach.
  • Strong people leadership skills – ability to grow, mentor, and motivate engineers.
  • Solid understanding of web system architecture (HTTP, REST APIs, cookies, CDN/caching).
  • Practical experience with modern web technologies: ElasticSearch, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Vue.js.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.


Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps, CI/CD, and observability tools and practices.
