Fullstack Developer

Overview

Adastra is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python, Angular, and AWS to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and developing scalable applications, implementing secure architectures, and driving automation through DevOps best practices.

Location: Hybrid 3-days on-site - Toronto / NYC

Status: Contract

Duration: December 2025 - March 2026; potential extension

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive front-end applications using Angular
• Develop robust backend APIs leveraging Python and AWS Lambda
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform for scalability and security
• Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Apply best practices for REST APIs, microservices, authentication/authorization, and AWS security
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and Angular
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3)
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and security best practices
