We are looking for a Java Developer on behalf of our client to design, build, and maintain high-quality Java applications. In this role, you will work closely with the team to develop new features, enhance existing systems, and ensure their applications run smoothly and efficiently. If you enjoy solving problems and building reliable, scalable software, we’d love to meet you.
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 10am-7pm
Working location: Tanjong Pagar
Salary: Basic UP to 7K + AWS + Attractive variable bonus!

Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance business applications - including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, architects) to design and deliver high-quality solutions using best development practices.
- Review, troubleshoot, and resolve issues by analyzing system dependencies and ensuring smooth operations, including occasional after-hours support when required.
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable applications.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose enhancements to strengthen system performance and development processes.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Computing, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of strong backend engineering experience
- Tech Stack: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Web Services
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Jenkins, and unit testing tools (JUnit, Spring Test)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and feedback.
