 Role: Senior Software Engineer (Implementation)                          

Qualifications / Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with equivalent practical experience.

Job Description Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• 5–8 years of experience in C#/.NET development, with proven expertise in custom API development and system integration.
• Proficient in writing SQL for integration queries, with familiarity in at least one of the following databases for query optimization and tuning: MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Desirable to have knowledge of architectural patterns, but well-versed in best practices, and technical standards.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards. 
• Perform or participate in code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Hands-on experience in developing complex software applications and components, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Design and implement integrations with various systems and third-party services. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and work in a multi-disciplinary environment with Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts and PMs to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Should be able to work independently & complete complex tasks. Interface independently across various teams both internally and externally as needed to complete the work assigned.
• Planning and Performing Unit and functionality testing to ensure fit to design.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
• Proven experience in working in a complex matrix environment, global teams across multiple time zones
• Able to handle tasks from multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously is necessary
• Has high-attention to details and works well in a dynamic and challenging environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Quick Learner committed to take on challenging tasks with an analytical mindset combined with high ability for self-learning is essential
• Actively seeks information, and shares knowledge with others

Professional Capabilities

• Desirable to have familiarity with Java plug-in development,
• Familiar with coding concepts for ensuring high scalability, multi-user and secured coding
• Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance issues
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms including services relevant to .NET application deployment and management.
• Experience in building, deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including writing YAML manifests.
• Proficient in using version control systems (GitHub) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins)
• Exposure to application servers, web servers, JavaScript, Unix and basic commands
• Experience working in Banking Industry, Actimize, AML, KYC and Fraud solutions are highly desirable
• Experience in designing, developing AI based solutions is desirable.
