Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
- Participates in product development processes, including translating complex business requirements into actionable software requirements for large projects.
- Takes ownership of large projects and drives software design and implementation strategies.
- Provides input on technology choices and design strategy.
- Provides high level support for internal product owners.
- Regularly performs code review and other mentorship for team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
- 5+ years of professional experience in web application development.
- Strong commitment to mentorship and collaboration.
- Experience in at least one backend language such as PHP, Python, or Node. Strong candidates will be considered regardless of language background.
- Strong experience in at least one SQL dialect, preferably MySQL.
- Experience in JavaScript with modern reactive frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of the nuances of running production web applications including: logging and security.
- Strong experience with automated testing and other quality assurance modalities.
- The Engineering team is small, highly collaborative, and flexible. The willingness and ability to learn new technologies and techniques and to share that knowledge with other team members is critical for success.
- Due to legal requirements of campaign ads, US work authorization is required.
- Annual base salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 depending upon factors including, but not limited to, experience, skill level, education, and location.

This position is remote friendly. We work on a hybrid basis at our office locations with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
