At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $111,100.00 - $137,200.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.

What You Will Do
Join Volvo Group Digital & IT and Lead, Innovate, and Shape the Future of Transport Solutions! We are seeking a skilled, well-rounded and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
A Few Responsibilites Include
- Lead the design and development of new software features and functionalities in collaboration with the product owner, business analyst and architecture team.
- Write clean, testable, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Develop robust front-end and back-end solutions using .NET (C#), Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React/JSX.
- Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considerations when designing & developing solutions.
- Design, implement, and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and functions for performance and scalability.Develop and fine-tune SQL queries to ensure efficient data access and improved system responsiveness.
- Identify and communicate technical risks, and propose mitigation actions.
- Mentor junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable software.
- Participates in estimation and planning of development, deployment, and operation activities. Implement CI/CD pipelines integrating automated testing, security scanning, and deployment tools.
- Deploy, test, and maintain applications, databases, and related resources across on-premises and cloud (Azure) environments.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of full stack development experience on large scare enterprise-wide applications.
- Expert in C#, .NET Framework/Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Proficient in designing and developing secure RESTful APIs and working with the HTTP protocol.
- You have a good understanding of domain driven design and clean architecture.
- You have extensive experience using SQL in data query and extraction operations.
- You have knowledge on how to work with S.O.L.I.D principles.
- A growth mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and methodologies. You are resilient and are used to live in a changing world.
- Motivation to contribute not only to project/product team’s success but also to the growth of our Chapter team through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture, including networking, identity, and deployment strategies.
- A collaborative teammate and mentor with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, curious, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
