About the Role

We are hiring an experienced SDET / Automation Engineer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering. You will develop automated tests in Python, interact with physical hardware devices, analyze embedded code, and ensure the reliability of advanced power-quality systems used worldwide in industrial and utility environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated tests (primarily in Python).
  • Work with embedded systems and hardware devices (power quality analyzers, PFC systems).
  • Understand and analyze the product codebase; implement small fixes or features as needed.
  • Design realistic EE-based test scenarios: simulate electrical faults, harmonics, dips, surges.
  • Validate the accuracy of power measurements and signal-processing algorithms.
  • Work with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, RS-485, TCP/IP).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain documentation for test frameworks and testing processes.
RequirementsMust Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing or SDET roles.
  • Strong Python skills for test automation.
  • Experience with embedded systems and reading device code (C/Python/other).
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits and power quality fundamentals.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with high-voltage or industrial power systems.
  • Knowledge of signal processing (filters, FFT, harmonics).
  • Experience testing hardware or measurement devices.
