I am supporting a global consumer brand that is building a brand new engineering team focused on redefining how people move through next generation digital experiences. This group acts as an internal innovation incubator exploring AI, AR, mobile, web and emerging technology to create products that push the boundaries of what is possible.

They are looking for a Lead FullStack Engineer to drive frontend strategy while contributing heavily to backend delivery, operating inside a small cross functional team of product, design and engineering talent. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on experimentation, fast iteration and greenfield problem solving.

⭐ The Mission

• Lead frontend technical strategy while shaping backend roadmap contributions
• Drive execution across multiple experimental projects with many unknowns
• Help foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Explore emerging tech areas and share learnings across the wider organisation
• Work closely with product and design to deliver rapid prototypes and innovative user experiences
• Improve productivity and workflow through tools such as AI coding agents
• Help define technical standards across system design, scalability and code quality

⭐ What They Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline
• Broad engineering foundation across backend and frontend
• Experience in fast paced environments such as start ups or creative agencies
• Strong experience with modern stacks including one OOP language or TypeScript
• Frontend experience with React, Vue or Angular
• Backend exposure to NestJS, Postgres, AWS or GCP, GraphQL and Kafka Streams is a big plus
• Strong visual and UX awareness, with high attention to detail
• Direct experience building applications using LLMs, RAG pipelines and Generative AI
• Exposure to Agentic AI and MCP is a significant plus
• Ability to design and create new systems from scratch
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience working with vendors or external technology partners is a plus
