Freelance DevOps Engineer

For a global customer providing services in over 150 countries, we are searching for a freelance DevOps Engineer to support several teams for infrastructure and platform operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and solving automation/monitoring faults
• Design and advice on best practices
• Creating and maintaining internal alerting rules
• Creating work instructions, documentation and procedures
• Automate the daily work where possible
• Actively contribute to the migration of legacy tooling and environment, but also to new projects delivery

Profile

• A no-nonsense IT engineer with all-round IT-interests always willing to go the extra mile, delivering accuracy and security in the work performed
• Strong experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Ansible and Docker containers
• Knowledge or interested in monitoring tools in general, such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana
• Understanding monitoring concepts through SNMP or API
• Hands-on experience of network & security related technologies is a plus
• Experience with database technologies, ideally PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB
• Good administrative skills with a strong eye for detail
• Being certified as Zabbix specialist or professional is a plus

ONSITE POLICY: 2-3 days per week

HOURS PER WEEK: 40
