Your mission

We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded Junior Backend Developer to join our Tech team and help build the next generation of Retail Media monetization platform.

The team is responsible for developing an extensive suite of services for our clients to manage their monetization program. We care deeply about performance, quality, and accessibility. At Kamino Retail, our people are product-oriented, intensely curious, and selfless.

What you'll do

  • Work in an agile, multi-expertise team
  • Assist in creating scalable, modular, and extensible custom APIs that can be leveraged by multiple client applications
  • Build and deploy your applications using Github
  • Participate in our API development and evolution (Python, Flask, SQL)
  • Participate in the development of our platform related services


About You

  • You have some working experience as a Software Developer with Python backend services
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs is required
  • You have some experience with either SQL or NoSQL databases
  • You have a foundational understanding of testing practices and a focus on maintainability. CI/CD experience is a plus
  • You have a strong ability to learn and are eager to expand your areas of expertise
  • You have a quality mindset and care for the overall performance of the product
