Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our development team in Tartu, Estonia (on-site). This is an opportunity for someone with basic Java experience who wants to grow into a full-stack ERP application developer. You will work with senior engineers to build and maintain the back-end logic that powers our accounting platform, while gaining exposure to API development and AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based application modules
• Build and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless system interaction
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Assist in developing new automation features, including AI-assisted workflows

Requirements:

• Basic experience or coursework in Java development
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with APIs, REST architecture, and web integration concepts
• Foundational knowledge or interest in AI technologies and automation
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with relational databases
• Willingness to learn ERP systems and accounting processes
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal English skills
• Ability to work on-site in Tartu

Nice to Have:

• Experience with HTML/CSS or front-end frameworks
• Knowledge of Git or other version control tools
• Experience using or integrating AI services or tools
• Interest in financial technology or business process automation
