🚀 Senior Java Software Engineer – (Helsinki / Remote)
EU Citizenship Required | 🗓 Start: Jan 2026
🌍 Remote + occasional on-site visits
We’re supporting a Global technology solutions organisation on a major EU initiative and are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong experience across both legacy monoliths and modern Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Must have:
✔ Java (7–21), EJBs, Jakarta EE
✔ Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs
✔ Kafka, Docker, Redis, MongoDB
✔ AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD
✔ React experience
✔ Finnish (bilingual) & English (C1)
✔ EU passport
Tech environment:
BO: Jakarta, EJBs, Java 17
FO: Spring Boot, Java 21 microservices, React
📅 1 year Contract
👨 💻 Freelance | 40h/week | remote
