What you would do as our Product Group Manager
You would lead, launch, and oversee the full life cycle of our Electric Locks solutions—one of ABLOY’s largest and most strategically significant product portfolios. You would be responsible for managing a defined product portfolio within this category, ensuring its performance, growth, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role places you at the core of our business, with direct responsibility for driving innovation, performance, and growth.
You would work collaboratively within the Product Line Management team, partnering closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless execution. Your leadership would be key to delivering exceptional customer experience and maintaining the highest standards of security across global markets, supporting ABLOY’s continued success. You would report to the Director & Head of Product Line Management – ELMECH.
You would also:
- Lead product life cycle management, including pricing strategy, solution development, execution of product growth plans, and provide Product Line reporting in designated areas and forums.
- Serve as Product Owner in NPI (New Product Introduction), CPI (Current Product Improvement), and PPI (Product Portfolio Improvement) projects, as well as in compliance and Voice of Customer (VOC) processes.
- Drive and contribute to competitor analysis and market intelligence efforts in collaboration with Business Areas.
- Make strategic decisions in close cooperation with experienced colleagues across business and product management, sales, R&D, service operations, production, sourcing, and marketing, building strong international partnerships.
- Be prepared to travel both within Finland and internationally on a monthly basis, as required.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Finnish and English; additional language skills are an asset.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities, both written and verbal; well-organized and a collaborative team player.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with high motivation and an open, growth-oriented customer centric mindset.
