Job Description & Summary
Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Compensation, Benefits & Tax Manager (m/f/d). What if it was you?
Your mission: You will be working in a team of 3 people and report to the Compensation, Benefits & Tax Senior Manager.
Your main missions will include:
- Support the continuous enhancement of compensation & benefits plans by reviewing and updating existing frameworks in line with market benchmarks and evolving business needs.
- Engage with Leaders to implement and monitor innovative reward programs that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and organizational success.
- Evaluate potential firm initiatives, with a strong focus on analysing their tax implications. Provide specific consideration for Luxembourg’s cross‑border context, including working from home, working abroad, and third‑country contract arrangements.
- Serve as the trusted subject-matter expert within the HR team, offering expertise across payroll, recruitment, global mobility, and HRBP functions.
- Ensure operational excellence in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Be a part of our team where you will:
- Develop and maintain compensation structures and salary grading systems;
- Conduct regular market benchmark analysis, providing insights to support pay competitiveness and retention strategies;
- Monitor reward program effectiveness, preparing reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as retention, engagement and cost efficiency;
- Advise HRBPs and Leaders on compensation & benefits strategy;
- Perform financial simulations, contribute to the budget process and forecasts;
- Manage the annual compensation cycles (budget, salary review, bonuses) and ensure a smooth delivery;
- Prepare communication materials to present reward programs for employees and managers in a clear and engaging way;
- Ensure internal pay equity, compliance with regulatory requirements & contribute to the CSRD reporting;
- Manage external benefits providers relationship to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Hold a Master degree in Economics, Finance, Tax law or HR
- Have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position in the field of compensation & benefits, payroll or personal tax
- Have strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices in Luxembourg, of HR policies and procedures, of Luxembourg personal tax on employment incomes and basic knowledge on payroll processes
- Have the ability to manage, mentor, and develop team members to achieve excellence.
- Have strong planning and prioritisation skills to deliver complex projects on time.
- Are skilled in public speaking, presenting, and influencing stakeholders with clarity and impact. Ability to present complex information in a simple, compelling way that engages and influences diverse stakeholders.
- Are able to analyse data, anticipate trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Anticipate challenges and proposes innovative solutions to continuously improve processes.
- Show proven ability to handle multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Are a strong team player, fostering trust and alignment across HR functions and business Leaders.
- Are able to perform under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Have advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and automation. Power BI, and Alteryx; it would be an asset.
