The company aims to make electric mobility accessible, efficient, and environmentally friendly by combining hardware, software, and smart grid integration.
Role Description
This position is for an R&D Firmware engineer based in Maia. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining embedded firmware for electric vehicle charging systems and related hardware. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in hardware, software, and product development to ensure robust, efficient, and standards-compliant solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Strong experience in C and C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Linux OS, scripting (e.g., Bash), and embedded build systems.
- Knowledge of EVSE charging protocols and standards (ISO 15118, DIN 70121, OCPP).
- Experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors.
- Understanding of digital electronics and ability to perform hardware-level diagnostics.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to travel when necessary.
